Growing Tulips Perennially with Polly Nicholson at Blackland House

Polly Nicholson, tulip specialist and owner of Bayntun Flowers, has been growing tulips perennially for over 15 years and has devised her own tried and tested methods to encourage them to flower year after year. Come and find out how she naturalises tulips in grass, plants them in containers then recycles them afterwards. You will also look at using species tulip in pots and in the garden to best effect.

Beginners and experienced growers alike are all welcome. Lunch included.

There will also be the chance to explore the Walled Garden and see some of the earlier historic tulips in bloom.
